What are special events?

There are two main types of special events. First, there are free classes. Yes, free classes! These are open to the public at various locations and studios. Second, there are workshops. Workshops provide a learning environment to discover more about certain styles of yoga while enabling personal development.

FREE CLASSes? IS there a Catch?

There is no catch!  Most free classes are sponsored by fitness companies, including clothing and lifestyle companies, which allow the public to take a class at no charge.  In some cases, you must be new to the studio or gym to be eligible for a free class.  This allows you to experience a new studio or gym at no risk.  Additionally, attending a class provides an opportunity to experience the sponsored brand and see available products.  Classes are generally geared towards the company's culture and often have a specific focus.  

Attending workshops allows you to learn more about a specific part of that yoga practice while diving deeper into your personal investigation. Workshops are generally longer, ranging from 90 minutes to 2 hours. The additional time allows for engaging conversations to help breakdown the theme or focus of that workshop.
